What we do

We do a lot more than just providing care staff; we provide a full set of services to enable independence and to ensure its sustainability.
When I set out on becoming independent myself I encountered many obstacles, most of which I knew nothing about. It was for this reason that I decided to offer a full service aimed at guiding my clients through the entire process, from deciding it’s what you want to do the whole way through to achieving it.

We offer an advocacy service whereby we discuss your situation and present a number of options. Once you’ve decided on the best way forward we then work with you and your family on producing a full plan which will be the basis of all negotiations in getting everything you need to become independent. We have vast experience and a high success rate in supporting our clients in negotiations and securing funding; we can also help with finding accommodation, arranging adaptations, sourcing equipment and even securing academic courses.

Once everything is in place we start the recruitment process to find you a team of carers who will be dedicated to you, I feel this is important as it allows you to get to know the people supporting you. You will of course be involved throughout the recruitment process so you have a choice in who is being appointed to your team. We encourage our clients to, where possible, involve their family in this as well; it’ll give them great peace of mind to know that you are in safe hands. Once we’ve got the team they will go through an induction training process which will be undertaken by the CMS training team, all of whom are PTTLS and NVQ/QCF qualified. This induction training will be the start of every member of the team’s own personal development program; through this they can develop their skills and obtain qualifications throughout the entire time they work with you.
