Awards and Accolades

We work hard to achieve the best and pride ourselves on the service we provide, we do this for the benefit of our clients, we want to see them accomplish and achieve beyond their expectations. This drive and passion hasn’t gone un-noticed, we are respected by professionals across the industry for the work that we do and the commitment we show. This has led to CMS, its managers and care staff being nominated for and winning a number of awards and accolades. I’m not normally one for blowing my own trumpet, but I’m immensely proud of what my team and I have achieved!

Great British Care Awards
In 2010 CMS were nominated in 3 categories of the North East regional division of the GBCA. We won the Registered Home Care Manager award and received runners up places in both the Care Provider and Care Team categories. At the national finals, held at the prestigious Royal Courts of Justice in London, we were represented by Norvil McClurg, our Registered Manager and also by Gordon McClurg as our Registered Provider; Gordon secured a place at the national finals by impressing the judges so much they put him through as a stand out runner up.

In 2011 we increased our number of nomination to 5, adding the Newcomer to Care Award, the Putting People First Award and the Homecare Worker Award. After a hugely successful evening we again progressed to the national finals with representation from Laura King – Care Newcomer, Susan Howarth – Homecare Worker and once again our MD Gordon McClurg – Registered Provider.

Gordon McClurg was given the Accolade in recognition of the innovative approach that CMS take in developing our workforce and for offering career development opportunities to all of our employees. We showed a clear dedication to developing individuals and to providing our clients with highly skilled and motivated care teams.
